Kyal Cook started his career in 2007, working hard in his theory-based studies while working with a well-known local Perth painting company, dedicating his time to completing his apprenticeship and working. During this time, he learnt a large portion of what he knows today in the painting industry. Over the last decade, He has perfected those skills and is continuously learning new techniques to give the best finished project to his clients.

He then furthered his skills working with a larger company specialising in the commercial side of the industry. This enabled him to develop skills in managing medium to large scale projects, as well as running teams of up to 10. Difficult access and high risk areas were a common occurrence on jobs and allowed him to think of creative solutions to ensure the job was safely carried out.

Kyal has always had a passion to consistently expand his knowledge and this led him to working in the offshore industry. This greatly expanded his product knowledge and advanced his skills in the blasting/protective coatings industry. He was able to gain extensive experience in industrial painting and how protective coatings are used on various projects and vessels around Australia.
